Editor

Award-winning author and former Science educator Graeme Lofts provides final edits for our collection. His expertise ensures that the animal facts included in our stories build scientific literacy and calm common fears about wildlife.

Executive Director

V. R. Duin: Retired mental-health attorney Terry Verduin (pen name V. R. Duin) is a certified SCUBA diver who uses fun characters to improve childhood mental health. She manages daily operations, fundraising, and the Goopy Ghost content hub.

Volunteer Expert

Amie Holton: With 21 years of entrepreneurship and a deep background in school volunteering, Amie manages our leadership recruitment and child welfare initiatives.

Financial Officer

Dick Verduin: A graduate of Northwestern University and an environmental engineer, Dick oversees all financial affairs and construction permitting for the charity.

Marketing Guru

Vice President Abby Quigg brings networking power to the children's book Abby Quigg: A realtor and experienced event planner, Abby leads our networking and helps organize signature charitable events like Waffles for Sharks.

President / Director

Miroslav Vukmirovic: Known as ‘Mikey Woodsy,’ he is a film and TV producer who serves as our lead composer, capturing the adventure of our stories through music.

Education

Pilar Jiménez Romero: A scientist and linguist, Pilar guides the use of our rhyming books for English as a Second Language (ESL) programs in schools.

Technology

Finley Hadfield: A computer science student and former coding instructor, Finley manages our innovative technical solutions and web projects.
