Ponte Vedra Nonprofit Little Ray Children’s Books | World Ocean Day Event.

Ponte Vedra, FL – May 28, 2024 - Little Ray Children’s Books, Inc., partnered with Tarpon Springs Aquarium & Animal Sanctuary and with Blue-Green Connections in a bonding-with-stingrays event for World Ocean Day.

The event, published by The World Ocean Project, fostered learning, community relations and bonding with ocean life, including stingrays and sharks. Children participating in programs at Tarpon Springs Aquarium enjoyed meeting a live stingray named “Little Ray”. After hearing the story of “The Amazing Flight of Little Ray”, from Little Ray Children’s Books, they visited and petted their storied friend.

Return visits will enable children to learn more about his habits and habitats. The impact of the event positively affects our reputation and that of our partners in the North East Florida and Tampa Bay Area communities. It showcases that we are collaborative and change-making organizations. These values are at the core of our nonprofit. We welcome future events.
